NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka PGCET 2023 exam today, August 23. The authority has released a notice regarding the same which is available on the official website at kea.kar.nic.in.
As per the official notice, the decision has been taken to postpone the Karnataka PGCET exam 2023 after students informed the exam conducting authority that in a few universities, the final semester degree exams will be held during September and requested KEA to defer the PGCET examination 2023.
The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test 2023 was scheduled to be conducted on September 9 and September 10, 2023, which has now been deferred.
“Students are informing KEA that in few Universities final semester degree exams are happening during September and requesting to postpone the PGCET-2023 exam. In view of the final degree exams are not yet completed by few Universities and by considering the interest of the students, PGCET-2023 scheduled to be held on 09-09-2023 and 10-0-2023 for admission to MBA / MCA / M.Tech. / M. Arch Courses, is postponed,” reads the official notice.

KEA had planned two shifts to conduct the entrance examination. The merit/rank list will be prepared and released on the basis of candidates’ performance in the PGCET 2023.
The revised dates for the Karnataka PGCET 2023 examination will be announced in due course by the KEA. Therefore, candidates who will appear in the exam are advised to keep checking the official website of the authority from time to time.
