As Vogue editors, we often wax poetic on the latest runway must-haves, but not every item we gush about on this website ultimately ends up in our closets. Our discoveries are nice to behold—they’re lovely to look at and inspire fun conversation—however, of all the tempting things to buy, what did we actually end up purchasing? Each month we’ll highlight those special finds our editors welcomed into their lives—all the things that made us buyers rejoice.

I’m totally sold on the chunky loafer this season and I love the horsebit detail on this pair. Giddy up! I want everything chocolate brown this season and just got this ribbed turtleneck to be a building block in my cacao-focused wardrobe!

I’ve been loving Pistola’s clean-lined denim skirt of late—the front slit isn’t too high and the dark wash pairs well with tights and kitten heel boots right now. I’ve also been wearing a set of silver Sophie Buhai hoops non-stop since my boyfriend gifted them to me for Christmas, I couldn’t resist picking up a similar pair in gold. These are reversible, a bit smaller in size than the hinged hoops, but still super cute for everyday.

I upped the ante on my everyday accessories this month. With the fall 2024 debuts on the horizon, I was ready to ring in some new wardrobe staples for the fashion weeks ahead. First up, I fell in love with these classic Celine sunnies, which are perfect for disguising jet lag. Next on my list was the famous Frame x Ritz Paris baseball cap. Whether I’m on a plane, train, or automobile, I know my bad hair days are covered with this utterly chic topper.

I’m falling more and more in love with kitten heels. Not only do they elevate even those most casual of outfits—like a T-shirt and jeans moment—but they also are super easy to walk around wearing all day.

Even though it doesn’t get to see the light of day, this Barefoot Dreams robe is by far my favorite new purchase of the year (I recommend sizing up for an extra cozy fit). I’ve also been loving these Cuyana leather travel cases. They hold all my essentials, from chapsticks to chargers, as I chronically switch bags throughout the day.

Ever since the Miu Miu fall 2023 show, I’ve been on the hunt for tiny librarian glasses. I got the red ones from Lexxola, which are so fun and nice to dress up an outfit when I want to fake wearing glasses even though I do have 20/20 vision. Everyone who knows me also knows that I’m obsessed with Wildflower Cases, and my latest favorite is their collaboration with Susan Alexandra! Susan even made tiny fruit charms and straps to go with the cases which is so fun!

I was looking for a stylish but roomy work bag that I didn’t have to be too precious about—Demellier’s Vancouver tote fits the bill, and the croc-embossed leather looks very chic when worn with wool coats. Speaking of outerwear, I’ve been wearing this grey Reiss coat non-stop. It’s slouchy but still elegant—the perfect combo!

I recently got to try the—dare I say—barrel-leg jean from Everlane, and now I finally understand the hype. While the denim trend remains controversial in and out of the Vogue office, this pair can officially count me as a fan. I love the extra high-rise waist and roomy wide-leg on the bottom. They are the perfect balance of comfort and style this season.

I love Ferragamo’s Eva pump so much that I decided to get them in another color. My first pair are the statement-making red pumps. This time, I opted for a wear everyday black pair with a made-for-walking kitten heel. I also scooped Saint Laurent’s new belt and this super on sale Reformation skirt.

This month I got this Reformation cardigan and to say I’m obsessed would be an understatement. It’s so soft and such a classic piece that I’m confident it’ll be a staple piece in my wardrobe for a long time. It’s also super versatile so I can wear it buttoned all the way up, unbuttoned, or tied around my shoulders. When Alexa Chung offered Vogue some pearls of wisdom earlier this month, she said, “Wherever I travel, I always regret not packing a navy blue sweater.” And she’s right!

Although they may not be practical for the winter months, I look forward to wearing these Gucci shearling sandals when the weather starts to warm up.

It’s officially sweater weather here in New York! While winter starts to settle in, I’ve been perusing Renggli’s second drop of elevated, everyday essentials. I couldn’t stop myself from ordering the wool v-neck sweater in two colorways. The more the merrier!

I recently got this Savette bag that I’ve wanted for ages. It is the chicest bag for a dinner out (and would make a very luxurious holiday gift!).

When I’m not wearing a monochrome palette, I’ll likely be sporting some metallic or sparkling accessories. I’ve been admiring Benedetta Bruzziches’ bags for some time now. I finally took the plunge and got my very own on Black Friday. It’s the perfect size shoulder bag for a night out—plus, the sparkles in dim lighting have an impressive wow factor!

Lately, I’ve been trying to buy more staple pieces that I can style and rewear over and over again. I’ve always preached that everyone needs a little black skirt in their wardrobe. And since we’re told to practice what we preach, I recently purchased this perfect one from Danielle Guizio. I can’t wait to wear it all winter long with tights and boots.
Another must-have (especially heading into the colder months) is a good turtleneck. I just bought this one from Helsa and have already worn it multiple times. It’s definitely on the thinner side but that makes it great for layering under jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, etc. which I love!

As a lifelong New Yorker navigating city sidewalks in every season, my decade-long quest for the perfect long down coat that doesn’t turn me into a Michelin Man-on-the-move was finally fulfilled with the discovery of Dorothee Schumacher’s trench-style down coat, complete with epaulets and a belt to reduce the dreaded puffball effect. But my winter wardrobe upgrades didn’t stop there. In a season where layering is an art form, I couldn’t resist exquisite fingerless cashmere gloves by the Scottish knitwear house Barrie, adorned with an emblematic British rose. So now I can stroll even longer and further along the frosty avenues of Manhattan, cocooned in stylish warmth without a hint of the tire mascot in sight.

You can count on Garin’s luxurious cashmere and wool coat to keep you warm + stylish all season long. I really wanted a classic caramel coat to include in my wardrobe that was at a fair price point and super soft. I’ve seriously worn this coat everywhere from weekend coffee shop dates to nights out with friends.

A chic graphic tee? Who would’ve thought! I had my eye on this one from Abercrombie for some time now, and I finally treated myself to it during Cyber Week (along with some other fun tops that just so happened to be on sale). While tees can be deemed as more casual, I believe this one can be elevated with a sleek blazer, a pair of trousers and a good kitten heel boot. Dare I say that this will be a staple in my rotation of outfits this winter.

Some people love a bracelet stack– I love a necklace stack. This month I decided to add to the chaos of my jumble of neckalces by adding one more to the collection in the form of the Mini Link necklace by a NYC based jewelry brand The Link Necklace. If you’re not into the stack, one necklace look beautiful solo, and if you’re not a silver gal it also comes in 14k Gold and Gold Vermeil. Something for everyone, eh?! Speaking of which, at a friendly price point, I’m thinking about gifting them over the holidays (shh just don’t tell my sister).
I decided to be *proactive* about chic winter accessorizing and got these white ribbed Wolford tights before I got a winter chill, not after. I’ve found that the white adds a fresh and bright pop to my winter wardrobe– sometimes you just have to mix it up from the staple black tights!
