Park is Jung Da-eun, a nurse who has just been transferred to a neuropsychiatry ward. She struggles to adjust to the new field but grows her skills and confidence with the help of head nurse Song Hyo-jin (Lee Jung-eun, Parasite).
Meanwhile she grows close to proctologist Dong Go-yoon (Yeon Woo-jin, Thirty-Nine) and is friends with Song Yoo-chan (Jang Dong-yoon, The Tale of Nokdu), a bright young man with a secret. (Netflix, November 3)

Shadow Detective star Lee Sung-min gets behind the wheel as taxi driver Oh Taek, who wakes up from an auspicious dream and catches a huge fare across the country. Problem is, his fare is Geum Hyeok-soo (Yoo Yeon-seok, Hospital Playlist), a charming young man who turns out to be a psychopathic killer.

Lee Jung-eun (Parasite) plays the mother of one of Hyeok-soo’s victims trying to track him down in this drama debut from Hostage: Missing Celebrity director Pil Gam-sung. (TVING, November 24)

6. Once Upon a Boyhood

In this 1980s-set drama, Im Si-wan of boy band ZE:A plays Jang Byung-tae, a young man who struggles at school and transfers to an agricultural high school in the countryside where he faces an unexpected incident.

The Fiery Priest director Lee Myung-woo helms the show, returning to Coupang Play after making its first drama One Ordinary Day. (Coupang Play, November 24)

7. My Demon

Lead cast: Kim Yoo-jung, Song Kang

Young stars Kim You-jung (Backstreet Rookie) and Song Kang ( Sweet Home) are set to heat up the screen in the fantasy romance drama My Demon.

Kim is Do Do-hee, the haughty young heiress of the Future Group who doesn’t trust anyone and doesn’t believe in love.

Do-hee then enters into a sham marriage contract with handsome demon Jung Gu-won (Song), who can live forever by tricking humans into deals that look too good to be true.

After meeting Do-hee, Gu-won mysteriously loses his power and must protect her to save himself. (SBS, November 24)

8. The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract

In this based-on-a-webtoon period drama, Lee Se-young ( The Law Cafe) plays Park Yeon-woo, a young maiden whose husband suddenly dies on the night of their wedding. She is then kidnapped and thrown into a well.
When she opens her eyes she finds herself in present-day Seoul and is saved from a swimming pool by Kang Tae-ha (Bae In-hyuk, Why Her?), the successor of the SH Seoul Corporation.

Tae-ha is a frank young man with a heart condition who is not interested in romance, but his ailing grandfather wishes to see him married before he dies. He then enters into a contract marriage with Yeon-woo. (MBC, November 24)

9. Tell Me that You Love Me

Lead cast: Jung Woo-sung, Shin Hyun-been

Jung Woo-sung ( Hunt) and Shin Hyun-been (Hospital Playlist) join forces for this romantic drama directed by Kim Yoon-jin (Our Beloved Summer) and scripted by Kim Min-jung ( The Sound of Magic).

Cha Jin-woo (Jung) is a man who has trouble speaking owing to a hearing impairment and expresses himself through his drawings.

He meets aspiring actress Jung Mo-eun (Shin), who expresses herself through words. The pair must overcome their obstacles as they draw closer. (ENA, November)
