Philippe Clement’s men have been able to sit back and watch from afar as 16 teams battle it out in the play-off round.

Rangers’ superb 3-2 win away at Real Betis back in December secured top spot in their Europa League group – and a bye passed that play-off stage.

Instead, the runners-up from those Europa League groups and the eight teams dropping down from the Champions League have been battling to join the Gers in the last 16 proper.

The second legs of those ties take place tonight – and the draw for the next round is just around the corner.
