The UP Police Constable Exam 2024 was held on February 17 and February 18 in four shifts.Over 48 lakh candidates, including around 16 lakh women, participated in the UP Police Recruitment Exam 2024 held at 2,385 centers across the state. However, there is an ongoing request to re-conduct the examination, as numerous candidates assert that the question paper for the UP Police Constable Exam 2024 has been circulating on various social media platforms.
“In connection with the written examination held on 17.02.2024 and 18.02.2024 for direct recruitment to the posts of Civil Police Reserve in Uttar Pradesh Police, news of information regarding some question papers going viral has been published in various social media platforms and print media. And in this regard, candidates are submitting representations in various districts,” reads the official notice.
The notice further reads, “All general public and candidates are informed that if any representation has to be submitted in this matter, then they should send their representation along with relevant proofs and evidence, in which name, address, mobile number and Aadhaar number are mentioned, to the e-mail ID – [email protected] in any case by 6:00 PM on 23.02.2024, so that after observing/examining the sent representation and proofs/evidences, the decision can be taken further.”

The board has ordered a thorough probe into the matter. “Preliminary investigation found that miscreants are using Telegram’s edit facility to cheat and spread misconceptions about paper leaks on social media. Board and @Uppolice are monitoring these incidents and thoroughly investigating their sources. The examination is continuing safely and smoothly,” the UPPRB posted on Sunday on X (formerly Twitter).
UP minister Dr Arun Kumar, also a BJP MLA from Bareilly, wrote a letter to CM Yogi Adityanath to re-conduct the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment exam.
“Some young aspirants who appeared for the examination informed me that the question paper of all the four shifts was leaked before the exam started on Feb 17-18. They also show evidence to justify their claims,” the minister said in a letter which has been circulated on internet.
