The suspected incident happened in the Granton area of Edinburgh – close to where his younger sibling was allegedly gunned down.

Don faces a trial later this year after making a brief court appearance in November.

He made no plea or declaration and dates for his next appearance have yet to be set.

Don was left devastated after 38-year-old Marc’s death and paid tribute to him on social media.

He and the family are planning to “celebrate his life” with a party at a plush hotel.

In a Facebook post his sister Rebecca Ramsay wrote: “We would like to invite all of my brother’s friends and family to come together and celebrate the life of Marc Webley.

“We will be hosting an event on Wednesday, February 28, from 5pm-1am at The Village Hotel to give him the send off he deserves.

“We would appreciate it if you could share with friends and family.”

Four people have been charged in connection with his death.

Gary Robertson, 20, Grant Hunter, 32, and Emma McVie, 25, have all been charged with the murder and remanded in custody.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested and charged in connection with the incident but was released pending further enquiries.

We told how Don and his mum Janet have refused to cooperate with cops.

Marc was cleared of two attempted murder charges in 2022 after he was accused of trying to ram a vehicle off the road in Edinburgh.

In 2016, he was jailed for 11 years at the High Court in Glasgow after he was convicted of being the gunman in a gangland-style ambush involving a Kawasaki motorbike.
