Angel Reese seems conflicted about her basketball future.
LSU’s All-American forward — who has one year of eligibility remaining and is a top NIL earner — shared a curious message Saturday on X after the school announced that it will honor Reese during the program’s senior day on March 3 against Kentucky.
“Should I stay, should I go? I don’t know,” Reese wrote next to a sad-face emoji and two hearts in purple and yellow, the Tigers’ colors.
The 21-year-old posted her message with the initial announcement that read, in part, “Creating a legacy of her own. Unapologetically Angel.”
The March 3 contest could mark Reese’s last home game at LSU, should she declare for the 2024 WNBA Draft, which will be held on April 15.
Given the extra year of eligibility, it’s possible Reese could stay at LSU.

The Maryland transfer has been adamant about her goal to become a repeat champion after leading the Lady Tigers to their first NCAA championship last April, a 102-85 win over Caitlin Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes.
Reese tallied 34 double-doubles — a single-season record for women’s college basketball — during the 2023 season and rose to fame.
The influencer, who has over five million followers on Instagram and TikTok combined, was featured in 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue last May.
Reese’s NIL valuation is estimated at $1.7 million, the seventh-highest mark of any college athlete, according to On3.

In her senior year at LSU, Reese is averaging 19.4 points and 12.8 rebounds per game.
She recorded her seventh straight double-double in a 75-60 win over Tennessee on Sunday.
“Being able to walk out of here as a champion is just the most important thing,” Reese said in a video, which LSU included in its senior day announcement. “I don’t care about records, I don’t care about leading in double-doubles and points, I just wanted to walk out of here as a champion, and that’s something I’ll always have.”
Reese also expressed gratitude to “all the fans that have supported me.”
“I’m not from Louisiana, but I feel like I am from Louisiana. You guys have inherited me. You have loved me, called me the Bayou Barbie. In my good times and my bad times, you guys always have loved me, and I really appreciate that. …. I’ll never forget being able to be a part of this kind of culture,” she said.
Reese transferred to LSU in May 2022 from Maryland, which is about a 45-minute drive from her hometown of Randallstown.
After two seasons at Maryland, Reese was the top-rated player in the 2022 transfer portal.
In a recent cover interview with “Women’s Health,” Reese wouldn’t say when she plans to take her talents to the WNBA.
But if she does declare for the draft, whenever that may be, Reese said one of the notes she has on her mirror reads: “Be a top-five pick.”
