Good Company bar at Karrinyup Shopping Centre throwing neighbourhood party

To toast the 6018 area, Good Company bar will throw a neighbourhood party from its venue at Karrinyup Shopping Centre.

Three popular WA brands in Feral Brewing Co, Nikola Estate and Running with Thieves will take part in the celebrations, setting up to host tasting of their best wines, beers and spirits on the day.

Good Company venue manager Kieran Cork said the respective wine maker, head brewer and distiller from each of the vendors would add to the spectacle and knowledge on site.

Your local paper, whenever you want it.

The free event will run on Sunday, March 3 from 11.30am to 4.30pm and is open to the public.

Mr Cork said he was surprised by the amount of regular local customers at Good Company considering its location at a major shopping centre, and he hoped the event would provide the opportunity to draw them all together.

“We have some locals who have all of the managers’ numbers and text us when they want a table,” he said.

“We see a lot of things here like the Trigg Markets that do really well and those sorts of things are fun. We can’t obviously do a market but what we can do is show off what features are in our venue, which is good burgers, good beers and good wines to experience.

“We’re really trying to harp on the neighbourhood and community aspects, especially with the people moving into the East Village (apartments) around here.
