A new lawsuit has been filed against Tyreek Hill by a social media influencer alleging that the Miami Dolphins wide receiver intentionally broke her leg at his home last year.
The lawsuit was filed in Broward County last week by Sophie Hall, an influencer and model with over 2.1 million followers on Instagram.
According to the suit, Hill was knocked backwards by Hall during a football lesson, which caused him to become enraged and forcefully shove her, resulting in a severe leg fracture that required surgery and orthopedic reconstruction.
The incident occurred after Hall had purchased a ticket for her son to attend the “Tyreek Hill Football Camp” at Boca Raton High School in June of 2023.
After the purchase, Hill contacted Hall on Instagram, expressing a desire to meet up. He flirted with her in messages, claiming he would make a good stepdad and invited her to spend time with him and his mom before the camp. Hill also provided Hall with his phone number.
Following the camp, Hill invited Hall to his home in Southwest Ranches, arranging for her travel and welcoming her around 11 days later.
During a training session at his home, Hill invited Hall to participate in offensive line drills. After making contact with Hill as instructed and receiving positive feedback, Hill suddenly became angry and violently charged into her during another play, resulting in serious injuries.
Despite Hall’s inability to walk, Hill downplayed her injury, allowing her to stay at his home while he arranged for her travel back.
Upon visiting a doctor after returning home, Hall was diagnosed with a fracture in her right leg requiring surgery with metal implants.
An attorney for Hill declined to comment on the lawsuit when reached by NBC6.
Hill, 29, was traded from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Dolphins in 2022 and signed a lucrative four-year contract extension worth $120 million.
Earlier this year, Hill’s home in Southwest Ranches was damaged by a fire believed to have been started by a child playing with a lighter.
