It has been no secret that Pirates have been interested in Shaune Mogaila, a long-term target now available for free. The speedy winger recently parted ways with former club Royal AM. It is reported the split came after the two parties could not agree on a improved terms for a new deal. Waiting on the wings, is believed to Pirates, who are club wanted the player even before he joined the Durbanites.

This publication reported just on Monday that Pirates and Mogaila were close to an agreement for next season. But in football, it doesn’t take long for things to change with the latest update possibly making the Buccaneers nervous. It has since been revealed by Soccer-Laduma that arch rivals Chiefs are also interested in the player.
