CTET July 2024: The Central Bureau of Secondary Education has begun the online application process for the July 2024 session of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) today, i.e March 7, 2024.
Eligible candidates will be able to register for the CTET July 2024 exam starting today, till April 2, 2024 11:59 PM on the official website of CTET 2024 at ctet.nic.in.
According to the schedule released on the official notice, the CTET 2024 July session exam will be held on July 7, 2024 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in 136 cities across the country and will include questions in twenty languages.
Here are the steps to fill out the CTET Application Form 2024:
Step 1: Go to the official website of www.ctet.nic.in and
Step 2: On the page, click on “New Registration” and proceed as instructed by the website.
Step 3: Fill in your name, mother’s name, father’s name, and date of birth in capital letters.
Step 4: Choose your exam center and the language for the CTET 2024.
Step 5: Enter your Aadhar card number, gender, category, employment status, and qualifying exam details.
Step 6: Provide your educational details, including your latest qualification and percentage.
Step 7: Enter your communication address, phone number, and email ID.
Step 8: Upload your photo and signature in jpg/jpeg format with a white background.
Step 9: Proceed to the payment page and make the payment for the CTET 2024 Exam online or offline.
Step 10: Click “SUBMIT” and download the confirmation page for future reference.

Eligibility for CBSE CTET 2024
To be eligible for the CTET 2024 examination, candidates must fulfill specific criteria. Regarding age, there is a minimum requirement of 18 years. Importantly, there is no upper age limit imposed, allowing individuals of any age to apply for the CTET exam.
In terms of educational qualifications, candidates aiming for CTET Paper 1 (for teaching classes 1 to 5) should have completed their Senior Secondary examination with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, candidates must have successfully completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program.
For CTET Paper 2 (for teaching classes 6 to 8), candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized university. Alternatively, individuals who have either cleared or appeared in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program with at least 50% marks are also eligible to apply for this paper.

No restriction on the number of attempts
Candidates can take the CTET Exam more than once, including those who have already qualified and want to improve their score. There is no upper age limit, so candidates can retake the exam until they achieve their desired scores.
Both new and experienced candidates who meet the CTET Eligibility Criteria can apply. Prior teaching experience is not required. CTET Paper 1 qualifies individuals to teach classes 1 through 5, whereas CTET Paper 2 prepares candidates for teaching positions in grades 6 through 8. The qualifying certificate is valid for life for all categories of candidates, ensuring long-term employment opportunities.
