The Redmi Watch 2 Lite launch in India will take place alongside Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ 5G on March 9. The launch will be livestreamed through the brand’s social media channels.

In November, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite was announced globally as a watered-down variant of the regular Redmi Watch 2.

Redmi Watch 2 Lite specifications (global)

Specifications of the Redmi Watch 2 Lite in India are yet to be revealed. However, the hardware is likely to be identical to what was announced globally. The smartwatch in global markets comes with a 1.55-inch (320×360 pixels) TFT display and carries connectivity options including Bluetooth v5. It also supports over 100 watch faces and over 100 workout modes, including 17 professional modes. The Redmi Watch 2 Lite also carries a water-resistant build of up to 5ATM (50 metres).

The Redmi Watch 2 Lite also includes SpO2 as well as heart rate monitoring. The smartwatch is, however, not a medically-approved device – like most smartwatches. It also includes sleep and stress monitoring and is capable of delivering notification alerts from a connected device.

Similar to existing Redmi wearables, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite has Android and iOS compatibility. The smartwatch packs a 262mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of usage or 14 hours of continuous GPS connectivity on a single charge.
