NO KAIZER CHIEFS FIXTURES THIS WEEK
The Premier Soccer League will offer nine matches this week. One DStv Premiership game will be played, as well as eight matches in the Nedbank Cup.
To close the gap of matches in hand, Mamelodi Sundowns will face SuperSport United in the only league game on Tuesday.
The rest of the week will belong to the Nedbank Cup, wherein Kaizer Chiefs have already been eliminated. Motsepe Foundation Championship (MFC) side Milford FC sent out the Glamour Boys in the first round.
“Kaizer Chiefs spurned a catalogue of chances over 120 minutes of goalless football before losing 5-4 in a penalty shootout to Milford FC in their Nedbank Cup last 32 tie at FNB stadium in Nasrec on Sunday evening,” Amakhosi confirmed.
Milford goalkeeper Siphamandla Hleza was the hero. The match ended 0-0 after 120 minutes at the FNB Stadium. Hleza went on to save Ranga Chivaviro‘s penalty to seal a 5-4 win. Kaizer Chiefs were thus knocked out.
