THREE men were brutally attacked by violent teens in a horror attack.
The trio were subjected to the vicious assault in the Eastgate area of Peebles on Friday around 7.25pm
Emergency crews raced a 40-year-old man to Borders General Hospital after he was left with serious lacerations from the attack.
A 21-year-old was also taken to the same hospital for treatment while the third man, aged 68, fortunately did not need to be seen by medics.
Cops have launched a hunt for the suspects behind the serious attack.
Detectives confirmed they are tracking down two adolescent thugs behind the incident.
The two males, thought to be around 15 or 16-years-old were both wearing grey tracksuits and black jackets.
Detective Constable Liam Myers, who is probing the attack, said cops have numerous lines of enquiry currently active.
Anyone with information has been urged to get in touch with cops.
Detective Constable Liam Myers said: “We are following a number of lines of enquiry in relation to this incident to identify the youths responsible as soon as possible.
