A GAMER granny revealed she’s hooked on Fortnite aged 75.
Cath Bowie is likely the world’s oldest player of the popular online game.

She spends six hours competing every night and has a squad of devoted fans all over the world.
They’ve joined her “nice” network of older players that she set up after she grew tired of dealing with vile abuse.
Now she has more than 9,000 followers who pay to watch her in action, although she gives them their cash back at the end of every month.
She’s become one of the famous Fortnite streamers on Twitch in the world, but revealed her family don’t get it.
She said: “My grandson told me no one would be interested and no one would ever want to see me play. So I thought I would prove him wrong.
“I’ve built up this amazing community online and have made great friends who I’ve never met. They’re like a second family.
“It’s a terrible thing to say but my real family is not that supportive.
“Maybe there’s an embarrassment factor? They just think it’s a bit weird.”
Retired businesswoman Cath, from Moray, never had much of an interest in computer games and found them a bit boring.
That changed when she walked in and found her grandson playing Fortnite when it was first released in 2017.
Whenever he was out she jumped at the chance to log-on and within a few months she was hooked and bought her own PS4.
But about three years ago she was on the verge of giving up because of the torrents of abuse she got every night from younger players.
She said: “I couldn’t even repeat some of the stuff that was said to me. It was quite unbelievable some of the rubbish I got. But I’m not the only one.
“I was fed up being treated like that and decided to see if I could find nice people to play with.”
Cath reinvented herself as Grumpygran1948 and is now a superstar in the gaming world.
As many as 6,000 people watch her every night and amazes them with her hilarious commentary.
She even sings Scottish songs like “You Cannae Shove Your Granny Off a Bus” to the crowd.
Under 18s are banned but she gets players in their 20s who are desperate to play alongside her now.
Cath said: “They want their five minutes of glory playing alongside Grumpygran.
“I thought I would maybe get a couple of hundred subscribers. I never thought it would grow to this extent.
“Never in my wildest imagination did I think it would become something like this. My family is absolutely gobsmacked by it all.”
Cath vowed to get her first tattoo if she reached 5,000 followers so got her online logo inked on her leg two months ago.
She vowed to get another if she hit 7,500 so is now preparing to get one done on her arm.
Cath urged anyone who’s interested in gaming to give it a go, regardless of their age.
She said: “You’re never too old. Just go ahead and do it.
