Last remaining squatters at Gordon Ramsay’s pub finally booted out almost two weeks after moving in

THE final squatters have been booted from Gordon Ramsay’s £13million pub almost two weeks after they first moved in.

Bailiffs evicted them today, despite the group claiming they had reached an agreement with the owner.

At the weekend, one of those living in the York & Albany in Camden, North London, said: “We’ve made a deal.

“With the owner, not Ramsay.

“We’re going to carry on staying here.

“We’re going to be security for him.”

And a friend who visited one of the squatters earlier this week claimed to The Sun that they were all “good as gold” and had been keeping the venue in a “pristine” condition.

But film director Gary Love, who bought the freehold of the premises in 2007, denied he made any such agreement.

Members of the Anarchist Association London Branch and the Camden Art Cafe had previously been with the squatters, handing out free food and drink to “the people of Camden who have been victims of gentrification and parasitic projects like HS2”.

Police were first made aware of the squatters on April 10, but did not act as it was a civil matter.

Ramsay got a High Court possession order last Thursday and the squatters initially promised to get out by Friday — but failed to do so.

A representative for the TV chef has confirmed the group are now gone.
