Amazon Australia seeking 1400 seasonal workers across Australia

Amazon Australia is looking for 1400 seasonal workers across the country to help support its upcoming mid-year sales season.

On Monday the ecommerce company announced its plans to onboard workers to help pick, pack and ship orders at its fulfilment centres and logistics sites.

While the roles available are seasonal, there is the opportunity for ongoing permanent employment at the company.

Positions are available in NSW, Victoria, Queensland, SA and WA.

Amazon Australia HR director of operations Jacqui Marker said no previous experience or formal qualifications were required.

“We offer all kinds of jobs for all kinds of people and are focused on creating a safe and inclusive workplace for them,” she said.

“We have 1400 roles to fill with motivated and enthusiastic people looking for a short-term role.”

Positions delivering packages with Amazon Flex are also available for those who prefer flexible working hours.

Workers can deliver packages to customers using their own vehicles.

Those interested in the seasonal roles can apply via Amazon’s website, while those who want to find out more about delivery roles can visit flex.amazon.com.au.
