A MUM and dad have been left “devastated” after both their daughters were diagnosed with leukaemia.
Lynne and Ryan Cochrane were distraught when doctors told them four-year-old Riley and Georgie, one, have Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

The girls’ aunt, Gillian McKie, said: “We just can’t believe this has happened to both of them.
“We were still trying to come to terms with the fact that Riley had leukaemia when Georgie was diagnosed. It’s very hard to deal with.
“The whole family is absolutely devastated.”
Lynne, 34, and Ryan, 33, of Mauchline, Ayrshire, were given Riley’s diagnosis in December 2022 after noticing that she was bruising easily and suffering from fatigue and loss of appetite.
They took their child on weekly trips to Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children for treatment that included chemotherapy, blood tests, pallet transfusions and steroid medication.
But last month the couple spotted Georgie had similar symptoms — and were given the shattering news that she also has the disease.
Now the family spend every day at the hospital, where the girls face months of treatment.
And all four are having genetic tests to find out why both have the disease.
Gillian added: “They are hoping to get answers to why this has happened.”
Dedicated dad Ryan has temporarily given up work as a fabricator to be at his daughters’ side.
Gillian set up a GoFundMe page, which has so far raised more than £10,000 to help with their costs.
She said: “Lynne also left her job to care for them full-time. They have car journeys, hotels and food to pay for, as well as household bills and expenses.
“They want to make their girls as comfortable as they can while they battle this awful disease.”
