NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRB) has issued clarification after a fake notice claiming the UP Police Constable Exam Date 2023 started circulating on the internet.
As per the schedule given in the fake notice, the UP Police Recruitment Exam 2023 is scheduled for June 29 and June 30, 2024. However, issuing a clarification on the same, the Board said that it has not announced any such date for the conduct of UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2023.
“A purported notification regarding the conduct of UP Police constable recruitment examination 2023 is circulating on social media, claiming the exam date as 29th and 30th June. UPPRPB make it abundantly clear that this information is fake and no such dates have been declared by the board. Any information regarding the examination will be published only on the website and official Twitter handle of the board. Legal action is being taken against miscreants for circulating fake information,” reads the official notice.

Earlier, the UP government took the decision to cancel the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2023 following reports of paper leaks. The exam, which saw participation from over 48 lakh candidates, including approximately 16 lakh women, on February 17 and February 18, 2024, will be re-conducted within six months.
