General E? Tesla Cybertruck Gets Dukes Of Hazzard Wrap

  • The pickup’s bodywork has been wrapped in a Wild Orange aftermarket wrap.
  • While the Dodge Charger from The Dukes of Hazzard was known as the ‘General Lee,’ this Cybertruck is dubbed ‘General E.’
  • Tesla itself offers several wraps for the electric truck priced from $6,000.

As each and every Tesla Cybertruck rolling off the production line features the same bare stainless steel exterior body, owners have begun turning to aftermarket wraps to personalize their vehicles. We’ve witnessed numerous captivating wraps over the past few months, and this one draws inspiration from one of the most iconic cars ever to grace our TV screens.

This Tesla Cybertruck, now bathed in a retina-searing shade of matte orange, sports large ‘01’ stickers on both sides, as a tribute to the General Lee 1969 Dodge Charger used in The Dukes of Hazzard. Rather than being called General Lee, it has blue stickers reading ‘General E.’

Thankfully, the owner seems to have steered clear of the more… controversial roof ornament favored by the Dukes in their original ride.

The orange wrap itself is pretty nice. It is a vinyl wrap from Teck Wrap with a Wild Orange finish. As far as wraps go, it’s relatively affordable, with a 5×59-foot roll selling for $415. Of course, paying a shop to install the wrap likely cost this Cybertruck owner a pretty penny, unless they did a DIY install. Photos of the truck were shared on the Cybertruck Owners Club forum.

While we don’t mind the orange, the ‘01’ stickers don’t look so nice. As the Cybertruck’s shoulder line doesn’t run perfectly parallel with the lower crease running along the base of the doors, the angle of the stickers only matches the shoulder line but not the lower portion. Most people probably wouldn’t notice this, but it would annoy us if we drove this Cybertruck.

For owners who don’t want to turn to the aftermarket to wrap their trucks, Tesla offers five different colored wraps for the electric pickup. These consist of Satin Rose Gold, Satin Abyss Blue, Slip Grey, Satin Stealth Black, and Satin Ceramic White, each priced between $6,000 and $6,500.
