The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2024 will be conducted on May 26, 2024. Sunday, May 26, 2024. While Paper I will be held from 09:00-12:00, Paper II will be held from 2:30 PM-5:30 PM. The online registration window for JEE (Advanced) 2024 was open from April 27 to May 07 and the admit cards were available from May 17. According to the official notification, PwD candidates or candidates with less than 40% disability and having difficulty in writing can choose their scribes on May 25, 2024.

Rules and regulations for JEE Advanced PwD candidate scribes
According to the NTA norms, the scribes will be students from the science stream of class 11, having mathematics as one of the subjects. They will only help the candidates by reading the questions and entering answers based on the candidate’s instructions. The scribe can not explain the questions or suggest any solutions to the candidate. The candidates are allowed to meet the panel of scribes in the presence of IIT representatives (IRs), an invigilator, and test center administration (TCA), one day before the exam.
Relaxation for PwD candidates
The total duration for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam is 3 hours for regular candidates whereas it is four hours for PwD candidates. The duration is the same for persons with less than 40 per cent disability and having difficulty in writing who choose the compensatory time.
