PlayStation gamers have ‘last chance to play’ these 12 games – including GTA 5

PLAYSTATION players are showered with deals and sales on video games, and hundreds of titles are available at no additional cost through a PS Plus subscription.

As new games are added to the Game Catalogue for Plus members each month, some titles have to leave.

The 'Last chance to play' section on PS Plus lists 12 titles that will be removed from the service.

Sony has confirmed that 12 games will be leaving PlayStation Plus in June 2024, and subscribers will no longer be able to play them for free.

The service’s ‘Last chance to play’ section lists all games that will become unavailable next month.

The highlight of the list is the massively popular GTA 5, but a couple more notable games are also leaving the service.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons will be removed alongside MotoGP 23 and The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition.

While the MotoGP and The Talos Principle series already got new entries, the timing of GTA 5’s removal is strange as the next game is at least a year away.

Recently fans have narrowed down GTA 6’s release window, believing that it’s now coming in late 2025.

Many players who are keen on replaying GTA 5 ahead of the next instalment’s launch, would be disappointed that they’ll have to own the game in order to do so.

GTA 5 will be leaving PS Plus after staying on the service for just six months, as it was added to the Extra tier on December 19, 2023.

Here’s the full list of games leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in June 2024:

  • Grand Theft Auto 5 (PS4 & PS5)
  • MotoGP 24 (PS4 & PS5)
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (PS4)
  • Monster Jam Steel Titans (PS4)
  • Unturned (PS4)
  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (PS4)
  • DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace (PS4)
  • Dodgeball Academia (PS4)
  • The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition (PS4)
  • The Wild at Heart (PS4)
  • Indivisible (PS4)
  • Baja: Edge of Control HD (PS4, PS Plus Premium)

All games on the list will be removed from PS Plus on June 18, 2024, so there is still some time to play and finish some of them.

This is not the biggest exodus of games from the service, as this month, PS Plus lost a total of 34 titles, including many Final Fantasy games.

As old games leave, 13 new titles were added to PS Plus on May 21, 2024.
