Christopher Morales Williams continued his winning ways at the NCAA track and field championships.

The 19-year-old from Vaughan, Ont., won the men’s 400-metre race on Friday night in 44.47 seconds at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

Morales Williams, a sophomore running for the University of Georgia, beat Alabama’s Samuel Ogazi and Florida’s JeVaughn Powell.

Morales Williams also claimed the 400-metre title at the NCAA indoor track and field championships in March with a time of 44.67 seconds in Boston.

He won the 400 at the Southeastern Conference (SEC) outdoor championships in a Canadian record time of 44.05 seconds on May 11.
