Global airline Delta has teamed up with Italian luxury fashion house Missoni to elevate the travel experience.

As part of the partnership, starting mid-July, Delta One passengers on flights to and from Italy and Paris will experience new Missoni-designed amenity kits, before launching worldwide in September.
These kits feature Missoni’s iconic zigzag pattern on the exterior, while inside, the kits offer a custom pattern inspired by the views from an airplane window. Within the kits, passengers will find Grown Alchemist skincare products, a bamboo toothbrush with toothpaste, an eye mask, ear plugs, socks, and a pen.
Beyond the amenity kits, Delta One passengers will also enjoy an exclusive bedding collection featuring a duvet, a large sleeping pillow, and slippers. The partnership extends to the Delta One Lounge at New York’s JFK Airport, which is set to open on June 26, with elements from Missoni’s home collection.
“The Missoni amenity kits have been meticulously designed, embodying a timeless declaration of elegance and a profound connection with the surrounding world,” said Alberto Caliri, creative director, Missoni.
“Additionally, customizing the Delta One Lounge at JFK signifies an important new frontier for our lifestyle approach. We are delighted to partner with Delta on the Delta One experience.”
It’s not the first time that an airline has partnered with a fashion brand. Previously, Air Canada teamed up with Canadian menswear designer Christopher Bates to design uniforms for its employees. Most recently, premium and luxury fashion brands like Michael Kors have also engaged in partnerships with hotels to further merge fashion with the lifestyle experience.

“The Missoni-designed amenity kits, along with unique design elements that will be featured in our Delta One Lounge at JFK, will offer a distinct, high-end enhancement to our most premium spaces.”
