Justin Timberlake is tearin’ up fans’ hearts with his recent arrest.
The actor and musician is amongst a growing list of A-Listers who have made headlines for their bad behavior, and the casino game website Spin Genie compiled a report on the world’s most badly behaved celebrities.
To come up with the naughty list, the UK gaming company used stats from Google searches.
“We curated a seed list of celebrities frequently associated with scandals and controversies by consulting popular culture news sources,” Dom Aldworth, head of brand marketing at Spin Genie told The Post.
“For each celebrity on our list, we conducted searches pairing their name with terms like ‘scandal’ and ‘controversy,’” Aldworth said of the report, which was released in late April.
Lizzo, who was sued last year by her former dancers, who accused her of sexual harassment, took home first place for badly behaved, with 14,050 Google searches.
The “Truth Hurts” singer, 36, called the allegations “false” and “outrageous,” and the suit is on hold after she appealed a ruling allowing it to move forward.
TV star Jesse James, the ex-husband of Sandra Bullock, landed in second, with 12,270 searches.
In 2010, James was embroiled in a scandal after several women claimed to have had affairs with him while he was married to the actress.
“There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way,” he told People at the time.
James, now 55, then got engaged to tattoo artist Kat Von D, who also claimed he was unfaithful. In 2010, a photograph of him in a German S.S. officer’s hat, performing a Nazi salute was published in US Weekly.
Singer Ariana Grande came in third on the list, with 7,370 searches.
The now 30-year-old first made negative headlines in 2015 after she was filmed at a bakery licking a tray of doughnuts and saying, “I hate America.”
She then posted an apology video saying, “Seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly, that you have no idea was taken, is such a rude awakening, that you don’t know what to do – I was so disgusted with myself.”
The Florida native has also been accused of being a homewrecker — breaking up the engagement of late “Glee” actress Naya Rivera and rapper Big Sean back in 2014 and the marriage of her “Wicked” co star Ethan Slater and his wife, Lilly Jay, in 2023.
The same month that Grande split from her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez, reports surfaced that she was dating Slater. The couple is still together, and were photographed at the Stanley Cup Final earlier this month.
Notable names have also been arrested — like Timberlake, who was charged with a DWI in Sag Harbor — for their bad behavior.
The “Cry Me a River” crooner, who was cuffed after allegedly driving drunk on Tuesday after blowing a stop sign and swerving his BMW out of his lane, has joined other famous faces who were caught in the act.
America’s Sweetheart Reese Witherspoon was arrested in 2013 for disorderly conduct for interfering with police while her then-husband was being charged with a DUI.
The “Sweet Home Alabama” actress, now 48, apologized for her brazen behavior.
“I clearly had one drink too many and I am deeply embarrassed about the things I said,” she told Us Weekly. “I was disrespectful to the officer who was just doing his job. The words I used that night definitely do not reflect who I am. I have nothing but respect for the police and I’m very sorry for my behavior.”
The Kardashian family couldn’t avoid a brush with the law — as Khloe Kardashian was put in cuffs in 2007 for driving under the influence — which was chronicled on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
Over a decade later, Kardashian, 39, reflected on her bad decision on Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”
“I went to jail when I was like 22. I went to jail for a DUI, not smart. Don’t drink and drive,” said the wealthy reality star, whose friend even styled her hair for her mugshot.
Actress Lindsay Lohan, who grew up on Long Island, racked up so many arrests that E! News created a timeline to document them all. Her rap sheet dates back to 2007, when she was charged with a DUI and possession of cocaine.
She was also taken into custody for stealing a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store, for which she pleaded not guilty, sideswiping a pedestrian, and allegedly punching someone.
The actress, 37, has since cleaned up her act. In 2022, Lohan got married and returned to acting, and in 2023, welcomed her first child.
Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey has an unusual arrest story, which he details in his 2020 memoir “Greenlights.”
After a noise complaint, the actor, now 54, was arrested in 1999 for disturbing the peace after being found naked, playing the bongos and smoking marijuana.
“While I was banging away in my bliss, two Austin policemen also thought it was time to barge into my house unannounced, wrestle me to the ground with nightsticks, handcuff me and pin me to the floor,” he writes.
“Two days later, BONGO NAKED T-shirts were all over Austin.”
Besides actors, professional athletes have also been taken into custody.
Tiger Woods was arrested in 2017, asleep at the wheel of his car on the side of the road in Jupiter, Fla., with five different drugs in his system.
At the time, he issued a statement saying, “What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.”
