Vincent Pule made just three starts for Orlando Pirates last season.
The talented winger has found the going tough since Jose Riveiro joined the club.
The arrival of Patrick Maswanganyi and the promotion of Relebohile Mofokeng also hasn’t helped the former Wits star at all.
And now, reports suggest a loan move could be on the cards for the speedy winger.
Pule was previously linked with a move to Sundowns while his former Wits coach Gavin Hunt is also reportedly pushing to sign him.
The Orlando Pirates ace made 57 appearances under Gavin Hunt during his time at Bidvest Wits. He managed to score eight goals while registering six more assists for the Clever Boys.
Orlando Pirates to take big decision on Vincent Pule
“The Soweto giants will make the call on whether he will go on loan in the new season or he will choose to remain at the club and seek a way back to the field,” a Kick Off report read.
Pule was linked with a move to SuperSport United last season, and now following his recent struggles at the club, those links have resurfaced.
“Vincent Pule was handed a three-year contract extension last year. However, the Orlando Pirates winger has struggled to re-cement his place in the team due to injuries and stiff competition for places. His former Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt’s SuperSport United have made inquiries regarding his availability ahead of the winter transfer window.” senior Goal journalist Austin Ditlohobolo reported.

In other news, Orlando Pirates full-back Bandile Shandu looks set to remain at the club next season.
Shandu struggled for game-time last season with reports suggesting his time at the club was up.
The speedy utility defender made just 16 appearances for Jose Riveiro’s throughout last season.
More worrying for Shandu was the fact that just seven of his 16 showings were starting line-up appearances.
Initial reports suggested the former Maritzburg United star could be on his way to SuperSport United as a free agent however, his agent has since emphatically refuted that claim.
According to his agent Mike Makaab, Shandu still has one year remaining on his current contract at Orlando Pirates.
The veteran agent went on to provide some clarity on Shandu’s situation at the Mayfair based club. Take a look at the details below.
Shandu still has one year left on his contract – Makaab
“I don’t know where the rumors come from because Bandile Shandu’s contract with Pirates expires in June 2026,” Makaab told iDiski Times
“He is happy at the club and the club is happy with him. He’s been struggling with an injury. He is in the middle of his rehabilitation program.”
Shandu has made 87 appearances for the Buccaneers since joining the club in 2021. According to Transfermarkt, he’s valued at approximately R17 million.
