Elon Musk has said an ‘attack’ on X has delayed his highly anticipated interview with former president and Republican candidate Donald Trump.
Billed to start at 10am AEST, tens of thousands flocked to the platform to see the former president speak with Mr Musk.
However, X users were met with an error message.
“Details not available,” the link shared on Mr Trump and Mr Musk’s profiles said.

After about 10 minutes, the link let people into “Spaces”, a feature on the X platform.
However, they were not treated by an interview taking place. Instead, they were met with generic hold music that appeared to be coming from the @realDonaldTrump account.
Mr Musk posted from his profile saying an ‘attack on X’ was to blame.
Mr Musk claimed in a follow-up tweet that X “tested the system with 8 million concurrent listeners earlier today”.
On the Spaces channel that was meant to host the interview, the count showed 867K people were in the space.
Mr Musk tweeted that the interview would get underway shortly with less profiles able to listen in.
If the interview goes ahead is yet to be seen as thousands joined the comments saying they are unable to gain access.
More to come…
