FOUR members of a family have tragically been killed after their vehicle burned in an inferno when they were allegedly hit by a street racer.
Shocking footage has shown how the car blazed after it was flipped in Grand Prairie, Texas, around 15 miles west of Dallas on Saturday night.
The Rosales family had reportedly been returning home from a trip to Six Flags and Panda Express when the fatal incident occurred at around 8:15 pm.
Parents Jessie and Lorena Rosales, their 13-year-old daughter, Stephanie, and their six-year-son, Angel, all died following the crash, according to Fox affiliate KDFW.
Three members were pronounced dead at the scene while the fourth later died in hospital.
Their 16-year-old son Anthony has remained in hospital in a critical condition.
The tragedy occurred when the family’s Chevy Traverse was reportedly struck by a speeding red Dodge Charger.
Security footage from a local business reportedly showed the red car driving at a high speed before it struck the family’s car, according to police.
The family’s vehicle then crashed into a nearby Valero gas station where it blazed.
Jaime Mesa, 20, was arrested and charged with several counts of racing on a highway causing death, manslaughter, racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Mesa was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be booked into jail when he is out.
The 20-year-old had allegedly been racing a white Dodge Charger with a black roof.
Anthony Morales, 22, the alleged driver of the white Dodge, was arrested on Sunday night.
He was charged with four counts of racing on a highway causing death and one count of racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury.
The white Dodge was reportedly caught running a red light after the crash.
A witness of the tragic fire, Miguel Coronado, shared his terrifying recount of that evening, according to KDFW.
“It’s a lot. It’s very scary to see,” he said.
Coronado said attempted to help the driver of the red Dodge when he noticed he was still in the car.
“I was peeking through the door because it was a little bit open,” he said.

“So I’m peeking through it, and the steering wheel is like pressed up on his chest, like he could barely breathe.”
“I wish I could have helped the other car. It’s just really sad. Their life changed in a snap,” he said.
Another witness, Yvette Acosta, said she saw the incident as she been at the gas station, according to ABC affiliate KLTV.
“Devastating and very hurtful because a lot of people were trying to help them, and they couldn’t get close to them,” she said.
“I haven’t been able to sleep well. Hearing them and not being able to get them out, it’s very hurtful,” she added.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Anthony with his medical bills and future.
The Rosales’s have two other children, Jessie and Natalie, who were not in the car that tragic night.
