Steelers 1 will head into the Eastern Goldfields Netball Association’s upcoming division one finals well-rested and with winning form under their belt after brushing aside Mana 1 last weekend.
The final score line was a decisive 65-46 as the minor premiers chalked-up their ninth win of the season, against three defeats.
Steelers, whose lead in the standings over nearest rivals Sonix 1 is three games, have a bye when the last round of qualifiers is played on Friday.
The squad’s next assignment will be the double-chance second semi-final on August 23.
Imperials head into the last round against Mana 1 trailing second-placed Sonix 1 by a game and percentage.
Also on Friday night, fourth-placed Rookies 1 take on Sonix 1.
