A road safety summit will come too late for another WA family following the death of a father near Moora on Sunday night.
Just after 7pm, Sikeli Nawaqa’s Hyundai Getz veered off the road and slammed into a tree on Dandaragan Road.
The 39-year-old sustained critical injuries and died at the scene, while three other men were all seriously injured and flown by chopper to Royal Perth Hospital.
His family has remembered Mr Nawaqa as “kind and hard-working”.
He was a farm worker from Fiji, and his employer, Agri Fresh, told 7NEWS that the “devastating loss has sent shockwaves through our entire organisation.”
“He was a kind, warm-hearted, gentle, passionate and committed member of our team, who will be dearly missed.”
One male passenger, aged 27, also suffered critical injuries and is fighting for his life in the intensive care unit at Royal Perth Hospital on Monday.
Two men, aged 30 and 38 years old, sustained serious injuries and are in a stable condition in the state trauma unit.
