There are a number of peak-hour delays across Perth with crashes, blacked-out traffic signals and breakdowns causing motorists headaches this morning.

A crash on Erindale Road southbound at the Reid Highway intersection in Hamersley has blocked the left lane, slowing traffic on approach.

Vehicles are cautiously navigating the area with those involved in the accident outside of their cars.

A crash on Tonkin Highway northbound in Malaga has resulted in the closure of the emergency lane with ambulances onsite.

Delays are minimal but motorists are advised to drive with caution.

Traffic lights blacked out at various intersections have left drivers carefully negotiating their way to work.
