Haryana CM’s OSD Bhupeshwar Dayal assures Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan workers

Chandigarh: Employees working under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (Comprehensive Education) in Haryana called on Bhupeshwar Dayal, OSD to CM, at Chief Minister’s residence here on Friday to press for their demands and informed him about their demands related to the Bye-Laws 2013 and Grade Pay. Dayal assured the employees that they would get their due. A delegation will meet ACS Rajesh Khullar also on July 13 regarding the demands of the instructors in the department.
Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan employees told Dayal that the government clearly stated in the 7th GC meeting that all the employees engaged by the department would be included in the Bye-Laws. Many instructors have been sitting on dharna for 15 days at Shiksha Sadan, Sector-5, Panchkula. Rajat, Paramjit, Abhishek, Sunil, Dharamveer, Sangeeta, and Anil are leading the peaceful protest.
Rajat, the President, said that Work Education Instructors have been trying for the last several years to demand that they should get their rights, but they have been getting stepmotherly treatment from the department. The post of Work Education Instructor is the only one whose honorarium has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 in the last 9 years. However, even after being directly engaged in the Council, they are still not covered in the Bye-Laws 2013.
A total of 366 instructors from different districts of Haryana reached the protest site behind Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, Panchkula. These instructors have been working in various government schools in music, vocal, tabla, dance, art & craft, and drama, etc. For the last 9 years, they have been motivating the students of government schools in Haryana to reach the national leve
