Camila Mendes is celebrating a big milestone. On July 10, the 29-year-old actor shared an Instagram photo commemorating her and boyfriend Rudy Mancuso’s first year together as a couple. “Always in our own little world,” Mendes captioned a sweet picture of the two wrapped in a close embrace. “Te amo so much. one year down, and many more to go.” Mancuso got in on the love fest as well, writing “Amoooooooooor” in the comments section and reposting it on his Instagram Stories.
Mendes’s anniversary post provides some clarification surrounding the timeline of her and Mancuso’s very private relationship. The “Riverdale” star seemed to confirm dating rumors in November by sneaking several untagged photos of Mancuso into a “life update” Instagram gallery. In January, Mendes told the “Going Mental” podcast why she wanted to take things slow and keep her relationship out of the public eye. “I am still in the honeymoon [phase], but it’s one of those situations where I feel like I’m really trying to temper myself,” she said, adding that the two initially met the June prior. “I don’t wanna speak above and beyond, but I feel like I’ve known him my whole life, and that’s something I actually have never felt before.”
Prior to her relationship with Mancuso, Mendes dated her “Riverdale” costar Charles Melton, celebrating their one-year anniversary in August 2019 before confirming their breakup in December. She was also linked to actor Victor Houston in 2018 and photographer Grayson Vaughan in 2020. Mancuso, on the other hand, dated former Disney Channel star Maia Mitchell for six years before news of their separation broke last April.
