April Ooi food review: Attadale’s rustic burger bar Corner Store Foods hits the spot

My boyfriend is always trying to get me to eat a burger with him, and when it’s the third one in a week it becomes easy for me to say no. But when he found out Corner Store Foods has free sparkling water on tap, he knew that this would be enough to tempt me. To see the spectacle for myself, I sat (passenger princess style) as he drove me to the Attadale burger shop.

It’s a rustic store, with gates pulled off a paddock and stuck right on to the feature walls. I spoke to the owner, Jyden Tan, who explained the gates were from the farm their beef was grown on, visual proof of their commitment to local fresh produce.
