After diversifying into handbags last year, Patou is now exploring the world of eyewear. The Parisian label, relaunched in 2019 by LVMH under the aegis of designer Guillaume Henry, has joined forces with French brand Bollé, a specialist in sports glasses and goggles.

Patou has reinterpreted the Micro Edge sunglasses, one of the signature models by Bollé – which is active through the Bollé, Bollé Safety, Serengeti, H2 Optix and Spy brands – with new colourways and lenses etched with the Patou logo.

This first model of Patou sunglasses, with a look characteristic of cycling glasses, was unveiled at the end of January during the label’s Fall/Winter 2023-24 show, held at La Samaritaine in Paris. It will be launched on Monday July 24 on the two partners’ e-shops, at a price of €295 ($390).

Patou is keen to expand the accessories category, collaborating, as always, with other French brands. In this partnership with Bollé, “[Patou] found it interesting for the two brands to join forces, blending a lifestyle and performance dimension with the elegance and sophistication of the Patou style,” said a spokesperson for the label.
