Logies red carpet host Sonia Kruger has fessed up she once pulled an all-nighter and presented the next morning without going to bed following an after party.
Spilling on her wilder years, The Voice host promised to hit the hay straight away this year as she would never get away with it at 57.
“Very early in the piece I did go to quite a few afterparties,” Kruger admitted to PerthNow.
“There was one night when I might have skipped bedtime because I was on Sunrise the next morning doing an entertainment wrap.”
The pain still lives with her, and now she behaves herself.
“I will never do it again. I wasn’t inebriated I was just sleep-deprived,” Kruger said. “I was so tired for weeks afterwards and that was when I was in my early 30s. That is not happening now.”
Kruger didn’t mind living it up for the cameras with dishy Dr Chris Brown when the TV vet joined her for hosting duties after moving to Seven.
“My philosophy is if you are having a great time, other people will come along for the ride,” Kruger said.
“It’s more about authenticity. It’s about having a good fun time. The audience are smart. They can see through anything contrived.”
As for her chemistry with Brown, 34, she said: “We shot a promo and both laughed uncontrollably at each other. We have a very similar sense of humour. We are both very hands-on.”
