New Delhi: The Central Board for Secondary Examination (CBSE) is gearing up to conduct the annual Board Exams for the Class 10 and 12 students whose schools are affiliated to the board. The CBSE LOC Registrations 2023-24 started on August 18, 2023 and now its deadline is approaching. It has been officially informed by CBSE that they will not be extending the deadline for the CBSE LOC Submissions 2023-24 and with this, the last date for the same is less than a week away. CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24: Last Date And Late Fee

As mentioned earlier, the last date for the CBSE LOC Submissions 2023-24 will not be extended, this has been informed by the Board via an official notice. The CBSE LOC Submission Last Date without Late Fee is September 18, 2023 while the CBSE LOC Submission Last Date with Late Fee is September 25, 2023, it starts from September 19, 2023. The Late Fee apart from the normal fee prescribed, is Rs. 2000/- per candidate.

CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24: How To Apply

  1. The application/registration process for the CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24 can be done with the help of the e-Pariksha link mentioned on the official website of the board- https://cbse.gov.in.
  2. Before proceeding with the submission of the LOC, schools must upload all the data on the OASIS and HPE Portal. The board will not allow the schools to change the declared strength/section of students uploaded on OASIS after LOC submission.
  3. Schools have to use their ‘Affiliation Number’ as the user ID and they must complete their registration process before going ahead with the online submission.

Principals/Schools To Ensure The Following For LOC Submission

According to the official notification by CBSE, the principals or schools must ensure that candidates sponsored are their own regular and bonafide students and no bonafide students’ name is left unsponsored. Schools must also ensure that the students are not from unaffiliated schools, they are regularly attending classes at school and they are not registered with any other board along with CBSE. It should also be checked that students are eligible for appearing in the Board exams as per the Examination Bylaws’ provisions and Class XII students must also confirm that they have passed their Class X board exam from a recognised school education board on or before academic year 2022.

CBSE LOC Submission 2023-24: Objective

The objective of the LOC (List of Candidates) prepared by CBSE is to get a list of basic details of all the students, prepared by the schools. It includes the demographic data and subject combinations that have been selected by the students. Details submitted in the LOC cannot be changed later.
