Adam “Pacman” Jones did not go down quietly.
Video from TMZ has emerged that shows the former NFL cornerback, who was arrested Monday at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport early Monday morning, getting testy with police and shouting at them.
Jones, 39, was charged with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening after he reportedly argued with airplane employees over the USB ports near his seat on the flight, WLWT5 reported earlier this week.
According to the outlet, which cited court documents, airport police tried to de-escalate the situation but Jones was “combative and argumentative.”
In the arrest video that has now come to light, Jones is seen in the back of a police cruiser and appears to be questioning why he was arrested in the first place.
“You said I was drunk,” Jones said while seated in the care. “Bitch, breathalyze me. I’m not drunk.”
When an officer (who was not seen in the video) explains that he was arrested for disorderly conduct, Jones replied: “For what? I didn’t say s–t. What’s the rule of disorderly conduct [expletive]? Tell me what’s the rule.”
When the officer then says Jones was also hit with an alcohol intoxication charge, he started to go on a tirade and claimed he only had consumed one drink.
“How the f–k you going to lock me up for alcohol and you ain’t breathalyze me?” he asked. “You sound stupid as f–k. It’s 6 AM in the morning, n—-. I had one f–king drink, which was a Pinot f–king Grigio. Go to the f–king bar and ask them. You stupid f–kers!”
Jones continued to rant, claiming the officer was going to get “fired” for his arrest.
After he was taken and released from Boone County Detention Center, Jones said he was trying to get to New Jersey to see “Monday Night Football,” which was played between the Jets and Bills.
“I’m hurt. This is embarrassing,” Jones said after he left the jail, per WLWT5. “Y’all are talking about 5, 6:30 in the morning. Who the hell is drunk at 6:30 in the morning? So, people just wake up and be drunk and go to the airport?”
The former All-Pro, who was marred during his career by multiple arrests, was suspended for the 2007 season for an altercation at a Dallas hotel.
He played for the Bengals from 2010-17, finishing his career with the Broncos in 2018.
