Perth Symphony Orchestra’s Party at the Court Hotel a night of Sam Smith debauchery and Barbie

Sam Smith’s debaucherous Unholy and Dua Lipa’s Barbie hit Dance the Night are just two of the newly arranged and choreographed songs that will be steaming up Perth Symphony Orchestra’s Party at The Court on September 22.

With a reputation as the orchestra that breaks all the rules, Perth Symphony will be doing just that as its edgy and electric all-female quartet Inneka share their passion to perform alongside a line-up featuring glittery female-fronted ensemble Glam, DJ Wildflower and Perth burlesque circus performer Matthew Pope, in a night hosted by Dean Misdale.

Up until now, Inneka’s extraordinary skill has been reserved for wowing audiences at corporate events or online with their cover of Voyager’s Promise in the lead-up to this year’s Eurovision, the music video filmed atop Perth’s Optus Stadium and at Cottesloe Beach.

Party at The Court will be a unique opportunity for Perth partygoers to experience the quartet’s fusion of electronic music and virtuosic talent up close and personal on The Court’s fabulously diverse dance floor.

“Every time Inneka play, they absolutely blow people away with their dynamic style and brilliant playing,” Perth Symphony Orchestra creative director Fiona Campbell says.

“I would love more people to experience that fun, but take it one step further into a clubland, party kind of vibe. I hope people come away feeling impressed and elated that they have seen a one-of-a-kind performance with exceptional performers.

“I’m also proud to be part of an orchestra that fully embraces our LGBTQI+ community. Everybody is welcome at this party.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing people’s reactions, watching everyone dance along, hands in the air and of course having a serious groove on the dancefloor myself.”
