Christy Turlington’s daughter Grace Burns shows model genes walking for Alberta Ferretti in Milan

Original super model Christy Turlington’s daughter made headlines this week after she strutted her stuff on the catwalk in Italy for Alberta Ferretti.

Grace Burns wore a one-shouldered floral dress for her Milan Fahion Week debut on Thursday.

The sheer floral dress clung to her curves, while her hair was slicked back to show off a barely-there makeup look.

While Turlington, 54, is Grace’s mother, her father is actor-director Edward Burns, 55.

The pair also have a 17-year-old son, Finn Burns.

After the show, Burns took to Instagram sharing an effusive post thanking Ferretti.

“@albertaferretti thank you thank you thank you for having me in your show… in a castleeeeee!!!!!” Burns wrote on her Instagram alongside a video of her strutting the catwalk.

“So so so honored to be a part of this beautiful collection.”

Turlington is back in the spotlight thanks to the Apple TV documentary The Super Models which documented her rise to fame in the 90s.

She, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford all feature in the doco.

The four women recently covered Vogue magazine’s iconic September issue.

In the doco Turlington spoke about the foul moment that made her quit modelling.

“In 1996, I remember being in Paris for the couture and I gained a little bit of weight because I’d quit smoking,” she explained.

“And I got released from a show. I remember feeling like, ‘Well, I’m not gonna let this make me feel bad.’

“I just made a decision for myself which is probably one of the best decisions I’ve made.

“And so maybe now is the time (to quit). I really don’t want to subject myself to take any more.”
