It appears there may be wedding bells for Channel 7’s Abbey Gelmi and former Richmond great Kane Lambert.
Perth-born Gelmi — host of the 2023 Brownlow red carpet — shared a collection of photos to her Instagram donning her pink Oglia-Loro Couture gown, but it seems many missed the shiny engagement ring on her left hand.
“Brownlow with @7afl,” she captioned the post, tagging the team that helped her create her look.
Tayla Broad — wife of Tiger Nathan Broad — couldn’t help but bring attention to Gelmi’s exciting jewellery addition.
“Also just waiting for everyone to notice the ring,” she commented on the post.
Those who did notice were quick to send their well wishes.
“Looking incredible!!! … and a huge congratulations on your engagement!!!!!,” said Oglia-Loro Couture.
“Congratulations beautiful,” commented Brooke Hogan.
“Booooom, hard launch,” another person added alongside a ring emoji.
Despite no official announcement from Gelmi or Lambert, it’s safe to say the pair are engaged.
The lovers welcomed their first child, baby boy Louis, on March 8 this year.
“Louis James Lambert came into the world 8.3.23. Our hearts are so full,” Gelmi said on Instagram.
Lambert, who retired from AFL last year, played 135 games for Richmond, including their 2017, 2019 and 2020 premierships.
Prior to her relationship with Lambert, Gelmi was married to Sky News Racing presenter Ben Way.
The pair split after one year of marriage.
