The NFL world might not be able to handle this.
Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who’s currently rehabbing his torn Achilles suffered in Week 1, is planning on attending New York’s game against the Chiefs at MetLife Stadium on “Sunday Night Football,” according to ESPN’s Rich Cimini.
The Week 4 matchup in East Rutherford already has fans on high alert as Taylor Swift is expected to attend amid rumors that she is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Rodgers, who is rehabbing in California, is two weeks removed from his Achilles surgery and must be cleared by doctors to fly, Cimini reported, adding that “once he’s cleared, he’s flying out.”
The report came after Rodgers dropped a cryptic line about Sunday’s game during an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday.
“You never know who you’re going to see at the game,” the four-time MVP said.
That followed separate comments Rodgers made the week prior when he said he wanted to return to jersey when he is able to walk.
“I’d like to be able to walk so whenever I can walk then I’ll probably be back in jersey,” Rodgers said on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Sept. 22.
Rodgers was seen for the first time in photos exclusively obtained by The Post on Thursday, which showed the veteran quarterback walking on crutches.
The 39-year-old future Hall of Famer was wearing a compression sleeve on his lower left leg as he left a four-hour workout in Los Angeles.
Rodgers also explained that he’s been checking in with his teammates “every single day,” including backup quarterback Zach Wilson, offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett and tight end C.J. Uzomah.
“The guys have been great keeping in touch with me,” he said. “I miss the guys it’s hard to be away from them.
“We’ve got a couple home games in a row … so hopefully I’ll be able to get back there at some point but I’d like to be walking.”
Rodgers suffered the Achilles injury when he was sacked by Bills edge rusher Leonard Floyd just four plays into his Jets debut.
Following surgery to repair his left torn Achilles, Rodgers told McAfee that he wants to play again at some point and didn’t rule out a return this season.
“There’s been some good days and some bad days for sure,” Rodgers said about his rehab thus far on McAfee’s ESPN show.
“… I’m making a lot of progress. Every day it’s a little something, a little less swelling, a little more movement, a little more mobility, a little more strength, so we’re building it up and trust the process.”
AJ Hawk — a co-host on McAfee’s show and Rodgers’ former Packers teammate — then asked Rodgers what his role will be when he returns to the team, before McAfee asked if he’d be open to play-calling.
“I don’t think I can be on the sideline until I can avoid guys running over — that might be in my way,” Rodgers said. “I don’t know what they would want.
“I don’t know if I’m going to be hanging out with [Jets owners] Woody [Johnson] and Christopher [Johnson] in the owners box,” he said, laughing.
