The Staff Selection Commission will hold the Computer Based Examination for direct recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group ‘B” Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’) in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations including their Attached offices, Subordinate offices and Statutory bodies of the Government of India located in various States and Union Territories.
The admit card for the exam has already been released on the regional websites of the SSC. Candidates can check and download the Stenographer Admit Card 2023 by simply logging in with their roll number and password on the official portal.

How to download SSC Stenographer Admit Card?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.nic.in
Step 2: Now, go to the regional websites of the SSC and click on the Stenographer ‘C’ and ‘D’ admit card link
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page, enter the required details and click on the submit button
Step 4. Your Stenographer admit card will be displayed on the screen

Exam Pattern
The SSC Stenographer 2023 examination will be conducted in 2 phases. The first level is the Grade C and D exam which comprises MCQs and is conducted online. Shortlisted candidates will then take the skill-based test conducted by SSC.
Marking Scheme
There will be a negative marking equal to one-third of the marks allotted to the question for each wrong answer in Computer Based Examination. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions
Skill Test in Stenography
Candidates who qualify in the Computer Based Examination will need to participate in a Stenography Skill Test. During this test, candidates will be presented with one 10-minute dictation in either English or Hindi, depending on their choice made in the online Application Form. The dictation will be conducted at a speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) for the position of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the position of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.
