AICTE Academic Calendar 2023-24 revised, check rescheduled dates here

NEW DELHI: The All India Council for Technical Education has released a revised AICTE Academic Calendar 2023-24 today, October 18. Candidates who wish to take admission to technical institutes can check the revised calendar on the official website at aicte-india.org.
As per the revised academic calendar, the deadline for the 1st year students to take admissions at the technical institutes has been extended to October 30, 2023. Earlier, the last date for admitting 1st-year students to institutions was September 15, 2023, and the university affiliation’s last date was July 31, 2023.
The Council has also announced the last date for a lateral entry admission to 2nd-year programmes for newly admitted students and for the grant of affiliation by a university or board for technical institutions is also October 30, 2023.
“In compliance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court order dated October 13, 2023, AICTE has revised the academic calendar for the year 2023-24, and the same has been notified on the Council website www.aicte-india.org. Accordingly, the last date for admissions in all AICTE-approved institutions and affiliation with universities is extended up to 30th October 2023,” reads the official notice.
