WATCH: Ethan Glynn, Justin Jefferson share special moment on sideline before Vikings’ win over 49ers

Ethan Glynn, a sophomore at Bloomington’s Jefferson High School, had an incredible encounter with NFL superstar Justin Jefferson before the Vikings game in Minneapolis. Glynn, who was paralyzed during a football game last year, was on the sideline during pregame warmups when Jefferson surprised him by coming over to say hello. Jefferson posed for a quick picture with Glynn and signed his jersey, adding the word “Griddy” under his signature. Glynn expressed his disbelief at the unexpected meeting, stating that he had no idea it was going to happen. Despite being on injured reserve and not playing in the game against the San Francisco 49ers, Jefferson took the time to make Glynn’s day. The Vikings went on to win the game 22-17, with standout performances from rookie Jordan Addison, Kirk Cousins, T.J. Hockenson, and the entire offensive line. Jefferson will be out for at least two more games, but no timetable has been set for his return. Glynn, who continues to be involved with Jefferson’s sports teams, coaching and inspiring his teammates, received support from his community in building a new ADA-compliant home for him and his family after his injury. The Vikings are now 3-4 and will face the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday.
