Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyanbonga Ngezana scooped home his first award in Romania.
The 26-year-old was named the Most Outstanding Player in the first round of the Betano Cup.

Despite a tough start to the season with his new club FCSB, Ngezana has found his feet in the SuperLiga.

““It’s my first award in Romania, it feels exciting because of the recognition and the support from the fans,” said Ngezana as per Citizen.
“I thank my teammates, because without them I don’t think I would’ve received this award.

“Also, thanks to the technical team for helping me to improve as a player,” said the former Kaizer Chiefs defender.
Ngezana also expressed his desire to win a trophy in Romania.
“The Romanian Cup is very important, not only for me but also for the team and for the fans, so we’ll try by all means to win it.

“To win something with the team is the most important thing for me right now,” he said.
Ngezana left Amakhosi end of May to join Romanian giants FCSB. In his debut game, the defender made an error which led to a goal denying his side a victory in preseason.
The ex-Kaizer Chiefs striker struggled in the first months but his coach came to his defence.
Since september, the lanky defender has shown his qualities and has established himself at the club and in the league.
