The SSC MTS 2023 exam was conducted from September 1 to September 14, 2023, in multiple shifts at different examination centers across the country.The list of candidates who have qualified in CBE will be required to appear in PET/ PST (for the post of Havaldar).
“As the Computer Based Examination was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by candidates have been normalized as per the formula published by the Commission on its website vide Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07.02.2019. As per the provision under Para-18.7, for the post of Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) candidates have been shortlisted for appearing PET/ PST based on their normalized scores of Session-II in CBE,” reads the official notification.

How to download SSC MTS Result 2023?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, go to the “Result” section and then click on “Others.”
Step 3: Select the “MTS” link under the “Result” section.
Step 4: Click on the Result and a PDF will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download the result and take its printout for further reference.
SSC MTS Result 2023
The minimum qualifying marks in Session-I as well as Session-II of the Computer-Based Examination are as follows:
UR: 30%
OBC/ EWS: 25%
All other categories: 20%
Candidates shall note that the final results for both the MTS and Havaldar posts will be announced later after the completion of PET/ PST for the Havaldar post. Candidates who will appear in the physical efficiency test are advised to keep checking the official website of the Commission regularly for all the latest updates.
“The candidates who fail to qualify PET/ PST will not be considered for the post of Havaldar in the final result. However, if such candidates get shortlisted for the post of MTS, their candidature will remain valid for the post of MTS. Final result for both the posts i.e. MTS and Havaldar will be declared together at later stage after completion of PET/ PST for the post of Havaldar,” the notification added further.
