Eton launches first of a series of Beatles limited-edition shirt drops

The new Beatles release is topping the charts and the latest Eton shirt collection comes with perfect timing as it’s an Eton x The Beatles collaboration.

The company said it’s “igniting the spirit of style and genius” for the limited-edition collection “that seamlessly merges the worlds of music and menswear”.

This inaugural release features a series of eight shirts, “each elegantly presented in a bespoke green box reminiscent of The Beatles’ Apple record label”.

We’re told that “the fusion of just the right dose of nostalgia enhances the overall experience” and that subsequent drops in the on-going deal “will introduce an array of creative shirts and complementary accessories, including scarves and pocket squares”.

It was all “conceptualised by Eton’s visionary Creative Director, Sebastian Dollinger, a lifelong fan of The Beatles” and “serves as an ode to the band’s expansive discography”.

With that in mind, each piece “showcases unique artistic interpretations of the iconic elements from the band’s storied history”.

And we can “expect significant moments in The Beatles’ history to be brought to life, including an allover print with a playful nod to the infamous Abbey Road crossing and another shirt adorned with an allover print inspired by the Revolver album’s iconic artwork”.

Dollinger also recreated John Lennon’s shirt from the Get Back documentary and the collection includes a “modernised version” of Paul McCartney’s shirt from the film, “transformed into fine Italian silk for a contemporary twist”.

It’s all available this autumn on etonshirts.com, selected Eton stores, and all Harry Rosen stores in Canada. Eton’s products are also available at a variety of high-end retailers including Harrods, Selfridges, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Galeries Lafayette, Le Bon Marché, and KaDeWe.
