Step 2: On the home page, locate and click on the prominently displayed link for UPSC ESE Final Result 2023.
Step 3: Upon clicking, a new PDF file will open, presenting the comprehensive results for candidates to review.
Step 4: To ensure easy retrieval, download the page, and consider keeping a hard copy for future reference.

The written exam took place in June 2023, followed by Personality Test interviews held between September and November 2023. Candidates who successfully cleared both stages have now received recommendations for appointment to various services and posts within the relevant Ministries and Departments.
A total of 401 candidates, comprising 178 for civil engineering, 46 for mechanical engineering, 64 for electrical engineering, and 113 for electronics and telecommunication engineering, have been recommended for appointment under various departments.
The UPSC results notification reads,“Appointments shall be made strictly in accordance with the extant rules and the number of vacancies available. Allotment of candidates to various Services/Posts shall be made according to ranks obtained and preference of Services expressed by them”.
In terms of discipline, the recommended number of candidates stands as follows: for Civil Engineering, a total of 178 candidates (including 7 PwBD-1 and 2 PwBD-3 candidates); for Mechanical Engineering, 46 candidates (including 1 PwBD-1 and 1 PwBD-3 candidate); for Electrical Engineering, 64 candidates (including 2 PwBD-1 candidates); and for Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, 113 candidates (including 2 PwBD-2 candidates). Collectively, across these disciplines, a total of 401 candidates have been recommended for appointment, which includes 10 PwBD-1, 2 PwBD-2, and 3 PwBD-3 candidates.
UPSC ESE stands for Union Public Service Commission Engineering Services. It is a national-level competitive examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The UPSC ESE is a two-stage examination consisting of a preliminary examination and a main examination. The preliminary examination is a written examination consisting of two objective-type papers, each of 200 marks. The main examination is a written examination consisting of six objective-type papers, each of 300 marks.
