SSC GD Constable Registration 2023: The Staff Selection Commission is all set to begin the online application process for SSC GD Constable 2023 today, November 24. Along with the registration process, the Commission will also release the detailed notification for the General Duty (GD) Constable recruitment on the official website at ssc.nic.in.
As per the annual calendar, the SSC GD Constable 2023 application process will be open from November 24 to December 28.The Commission is likely to fill 75,768 vacancies through this recruitment drive, out of which 67364 vacancies are available for male candidates and 8179 for female candidates.
The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the SSC GD Constable examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) and Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau).
Age Limit
As per the previous years’ trend, the age limit for SSC GD Constable 2023 is likely to be 18 to 23 years of age. However, upper-age relaxation will be available to the candidates from the reserved categories.
Application Fee
The application fee for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2023 will be Rs. 100.
Examination Pattern
The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each.
The examination consists of four parts.
Part-A: It focuses on General Intelligence and Reasoning, there are 20 questions, with a maximum of 40 marks.
Part-B: It covers General Knowledge and General Awareness, there are also 20 questions with a maximum of 40 marks.
Part-C: It is centered around Elementary Mathematics, and comprises 20 questions, each carrying 40 marks.
Part-D: It involves English/Hindi with 20 questions and a maximum of 40 marks.
Note: There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST): Based on the performance in CBE, candidates will be shortlisted for PET/ PST by the Commission. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centres finalized by the CAPFs.
Documents Required for Registration
– Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP)
– Email ID (to be verified through OTP)
– Aadhaar Number
– Information about the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing of the Matriculation (10th) Examination
– Disability Certificate Number, if you are a person with benchmark disability.
